Appreciation Thread

Take the time to consider what you can appreciate in this moment.  It might be something that fills up your life with joy, or it might be as simple as the breath going in and out of your body.  Feel the balance that comes from seeking out the light in life, even in dark moments.  Feel free to share below what you appreciate.

Thanks to @CeeThoughts for sharing these lovely photos:

Today I’m appreciating the warm feeling in my body, the sound of the tradewinds rustling through the trees in my neighborhood, and time with friends & family.

I appreciate my beautiful life: my hard-working husband, spirited children, cozy home, and, yes, even my wild & crazy mind! I could choose to, and at times I do, describe these things by focusing on their less-positive qualities, yet when I focus on gratitude & appreciation, my heart radiates with happiness. :-D

I appreciate every opportunity to live life to its fullest. I appreciate knowing that there are other people in the world, who think, and feel the same positive, grateful thoughts. I appreciate the opportunity to make this world a better place. I appreciate the universe for making it all happen. Most of all, I appreciate my wife, and family, for without any of them, appreciation for anything, wouldn’t be possible.

SO AGREE! many people have no appreciation for anything & really see the world in the most negative light. appreciation opens your eyes to the good of the world even if things are not so good.

Today I am grateful for being able to run 28km with only fatigue and no significant pain in training for a marathon in 3 wks. I got to enjoy spectacular trails, mountain and river backdrops, and did something GOOD for my body and spirit. Ran with two great women. My bucket is full!

Today, I appreciate opening my Twitter and seeing these wonderful messages from @MindfulSpark. I appreciate reading all of the entries below, and seeing how wonderful the world is! I appreciate that today I am no longer depressed over a recent break-up. I appreciate that I can stand on my own two feet and I can honestly say that I am going to be okay. I appreciate having a family that even though we have communication issues, we will still always be there for each other. I appreciate that fact that there are happy, inspired, and healthy people out there, and I am now one of them!

I appreciate my family who love me for me. What greater feeling is being loved for who you truly are….flaws and all! I also appreciate me health. I am able to see, hear, walk, etc. All the little things matter.

I appreciate that change is the only constant. In times of darkness, light is on its way if I can just sit back and stop wishing things were different. Step back andwatch things unfold. That’s our only choice.

I appreciate all the love and pure joy that was expressed all over the world today. Nothing is more uplifting than the feeling of generous compassion between two people. Whether its your significant other, mom, dad, aunt, uncle, enemy, friend, or even the lady at the local gas station. We are all brothers and sisters living on this beautiful planet Earth that we were blessed with; treat it with LOVE<3
